FROM THE STAGE

Opening this Friday in the Basement Bar, Iowa Stage features new work by artist Katelyn McBurney developed in collaboration with Iowa Stage Theater Company.   The project was designed by Iowa Stage to foster a cross disciplinary discussion regarding the stories being told in their 2018-2019 season.  McBurney's mixed media works on paper are vibrant expressions of the emotion and theme's of a diverse season of theater.  With bold colors and McBurney's characteristic flowing line work, the dynamic imagery offers a new take and unique vision for each story.
