Who’s exhibiting and opportunities for artists

Call for Artists: All Species One Earth

The All Species One Earth event in Ames, Iowa is looking for all kinds of artists, creative people and naturalists to help bring life to our 2016  event, which will be held in Ames on Saturday afternoon, April 23.

To better integrate this event into the fabric of central Iowa cultural life and involve as many peopleas possible into this great event, we are looking for a variety of artists, creatives and educators to help us publicize and prepare for this event, and join the celebration for the big day.

The involvement we are encouraging for this event includes:

- Presentations and performances for the event, either to take place in the library or in Bandshell Park

- Teaching classes or workshops in mask, costume and puppet making for all ages at all kinds of venues (tell us what you’re planning on teaching and when, and we will promote it for you!) We also have some grant funding available for arts teaching for this event.

- Creation of original costumes, parade puppets or masks to include in the event

If you are interested in participating or have more questions please contact the event’s Artist in Residence, Molly Nagel, at (319) 360-3273.
