Kim Hutchison is an artist, a crafter, a curator, and a collector. I find it impossible to describe Kim without thinking immediately of a woman at her sewing machine—in her life and in her work, Kim gathers up the material artifacts of human experience and stitches them together according to new patterns, letting the everyday world speak to us in ways we might otherwise overlook.
