Prompt Press seeks visual arts submissions
Iowa City-based ekphrastic art and literary journal Prompt Press seeks visual arts submissions inspired by short story “The Good Samaritan Speaks” by Melanie Rae Thon for its fourth issue.
Inspired by Gertrude Stein’s Paris Salon, Prompt Press provides inspiration for and invites collaboration between writers and visual artists. We believe cross media collaboration is vital to the creation of boundary pushing new work. Accepted work will be published on the Prompt website and in a biannual book-artist-designed print edition.
To submit your work for consideration, email no more than 6 images, sRGB JPG format, 1280ppi on the longest side, with title and caption details. Please include a cover letter.
We also accept video submissions.
Deadline: April 15th, 2015
