Polka Dot Party // Des Moines Art Center

STREET PARTY – 15th Street near the Pappajohn Sculpture Park
Dust off your favorite polka dot attire to listen to live music from the The Punching Pandas and admire the newly installed “Pumpkin (L).” Participate in hands-on art activities for guests of all ages, and learn about Kusama’s sculpture with on-the-spot tours. Grab a drink at the cash bar and sample some of Des Moines’ finest food truck eats.

COCKTAIL PARTY – Des Moines Art Center
Head to the Art Center for an unexpectedly dotty cocktail party in the lobby and courtyard. Feast on round light bites and enjoy hosted beer and wine, provided by The Tangerine Food Company. Enjoy live music by Courtney Krause, and tour the Yayoi Kusuama exhibition in the Blank One Gallery and wander the museum.

A shuttle will run continuously between the events. This event is free and open to the public.
