“Where is Here?” features complementary works by Firat Erdim, assistant professor of architecture; David Parker, lecturer in graphic design; and Olivia Valentine, assistant professor of art and visual culture. “The rubbings, tracings, fields, mounds, mesas, dispersions and interruptions that constitute the exhibition deal with specificities of place and ground,” Erdim said.

An opening reception will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. The exhibit will be on view through Nov. 4 at the ISU Design on Main Gallery, 203 Main St. in downtown Ames.
