kNOw Space

A pop-up temporary art installation by acclaimed local artist Jordan Weber hits the 6th Avenue Corridor tomorrow night and you're invited! Jordan will introduce his kNOw Space project to Des Moines from 6pm - 8pm at 1412 6th Avenue just south of St. Vincent de Paul of Des Moines. The event will also feature tasty produce and eats for sale by Sweet Tooth Farm and Veggie Thumper, free books by artists of color donated by the Spark Foundation, 200 free comic books donated by Black Medicine Comics, and even more free books donated by United Way! AND, experience a live mural by Ryan Topete going up on the Urban Dreams building! Art, healthy food, and books - what more do you need? The kNOw Space project is supported by grants from the Iowa Arts Council and the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation. Please share - all are welcome tomorrow night for this fun, pop-up event!
