Spring Gallery Night in Valley Junction

On Friday night, Valley Junction's Spring Gallery Night will feature exhibits and openings in seven galleries, showcasing fine artwork, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind objects by local and international artists. Local favorite Olsen Larsen Galleries will also be celebrating their fortieth anniversary with an installation from Julia Franklin, who has decorated their alternative exhibition space as a 1970s dining room. On Tuesday evening at 7pm until May 14, Franklin will be hosting informal potluck dinner parties in the space aimed at recreating the private in the public sphere and reimagining an everyday ritual.

Spring Gallery Night will run from 5-9pm on Friday on 5th Street in Valley Junction, and seats at Julia Franklin’s table on Tuesdays can be reserved here.
